Using tracking points We can collect the data about Process Applications, to gain insight into how our Process Application running at a particular point of time or across many executions.
By tracking information about Process Applications we can find out how many tasks currently at risk or could not be completed on time or how long a particular task on average to complete.
Autotracking automatically captures data from tracking points at the entry and exit of each item in a BPD (for example, services, activities, and gateways).

Tracking groups provide more control over tracked data. Use them to track a selected group of process variables across multiple BPDs or process applications and to store tracking points for a timing interval.

We can use time interval to measure the duration between two points within a process flow.
Here i am demonstrating how to create time interval using tracking groups.
Drag the intermediate start event.Go to implementation select Tracking.

Create Traking Group.Click on new.

Click on Finish.
You can add Tracked Field here if you want.See here Performance Data Warehouse ID is generated for each variable.
